Route overview

Mission 2, Liberation, expands the map puzzle beyond a single known coordinate. Release-version footage shows a mission state that authorizes the requisition console and asks the Operator to destroy hostile infantry in an urban sector. The useful information arrives through multiple spotters rather than as finished firing cards.

Quick answer: plot the IRON NEST, save every numbered spotter, cross the reports that describe the same hostile position, and only then measure the final bearing and range from the turret. Use the map icon glossary for symbol meaning and the triangulation guide when two observations do not form a clean point.

Do not copy coordinates from a video: objective positions can differ, and the point of the mission is to turn the reports in your run into target locations.

Prepare the map

1. Copy the IRON NEST position and move the large turret token there.
2. Record every spotter coordinate with a blue numbered token.
3. Keep each spotter's report beside its number so bearings are not assigned to the wrong origin.
4. Leave the tokens on the map even after clearing old clipboard notes; later orders can refer back to an earlier observer.

The mission material warns that spotter bearings contain a small error margin. Lines that almost meet can still describe the same target; nearly parallel lines make that uncertainty much more important.

Mission 2 map checklist

Solve each hostile position

For every target, draw the first reported bearing from its named spotter, then draw the second from the other stated origin. Put a red target marker at the intersection. If the lines produce a wide uncertainty area, request more intelligence or reconnaissance rather than choosing a convenient point.

Once the target is fixed, draw the final red measurement from the IRON NEST marker to the target. That line supplies the bearing and range for the ballistic calculator.

Build and execute the fire mission

Choose ammunition for the target effect, enter the measured range and powder charge, print the elevation card, load the correct barrel, rotate to the recorded bearing and set elevation. Use the onboard final checklist before firing. After impact, read the map, photos or new reports before removing the target from the plan.

When you get stuck

1. Verify that each observation belongs to the current objective.
2. Mark the spotter or reference point clearly.
3. Draw the reported direction from the correct origin.
4. Use the intersection as the target position.
5. Measure bearing and range from the IRON NEST, not from a spotter.
6. Request additional intelligence when the geometry remains ambiguous.
