What is IRON NEST?
The IRON NEST game, officially titled IRON NEST: Heavy Turret Simulator, is a single-player dieselpunk artillery simulation. One Operator receives orders and field reports, plots targets on an interactive map, works a mechanical ballistic calculator, loads shells and powder charges, then controls a 5,000-ton turret by hand.

What you actually do
Read High Command and spotter messages, preserve coordinates, locate targets from bearings and ranges, select ammunition, calculate elevation, operate the loader and verify the result through reports or reconnaissance photos.
Progression and replay
Challenge missions add procedurally varied targets, leaderboards and unlockable ammunition, reconnaissance and battlefield-control abilities. The official store lists 30+ ammo types and abilities, 100+ medals and 15 regions across the broader game.
World and story
The campaign takes place in an alternate late-1920s Spain where the monarchy remains in power. Orders, intercepted reports, reconnaissance photos and wartime newspapers reveal the consequences of the Operator’s decisions indirectly.
